Just as I thought I had escaped Tebow mania, I hear that he was traded to the JETS! My first reaction was what the [expletive]! I did not understand the move and to be honest I still don’t understand the move. There is one reason that I keep going back to is that the Jets organization wants Tebow to be there starting QB. It is well known that Mark Sanchez isn’t the most mentally tough QB in the league. What is Sanchez going to do now that he has a back up QB who has made it well known that he wants to be a starting QB? Not a running back, not a tight end, or a halfback but a STARTING QB. Mark Sanchez has never been a position to fight for his position has a starter. Now that Tebow is in the picture Mark has no other choice but to fight for his position. As soon as Mark Sanchez makes a mistake the Tebow chants are going to pour in the stadium; the Jets organization knows this. Bringing in a big personality in like Tebow means only one thing, you want Sanchez out, or you want him to step up his game tremendously. Rarely do I ever agree with Skip Bayless, but I have to agree with him when he says that Tim Tebow will the starting QB for the New York Jets come mid-season.
